The Alsager Community Choir was formed in May 2012 and was created to allow people of all singing abilities to get together, make new friends and sing their favourite songs. Choir leader Matthew initially came up with the idea whilst he was teaching in China, where he had to use the choir singing as a way to relax students who were under enormous pressure at school.
Emily began making music on her keyboard when she was 12 years old. Since then, she’s recorded and released an album and an EP, performed at various local festivals and in venues in and around Staffordshire and Cheshire. She was recently nominated for Best Young Act at the Music Awards of Staffordshire & Cheshire 2017.

Based in the North West of England and North Wales we play an exciting mix of Bluegrass, Country, Blues and Folk standards, but often with a twist! Members of the band are Johnny Baxter (fiddle, harmonica, bodhran, guitar, mandolin and vocals), Tony Kidd (guitar, mandolin and vocals), Richard Nott (double bass), Julian (Jools) Pellatt (guitar, banjo, ukulele, charango, mandolin and vocals).
James’ home town of Liverpool is a diverse musical melting pot, and this was a heady influence on James, who started playing guitar from a young age, largely playing rhythm and blues. In his early twenties he fronted several different line-ups including Lies all Lies, playing a rock’n’roll-meets-new-wave guitar style music. Later he fronted The Electric Morning and released records on the Liverpool indie label Probe Records.
Mollie & Alex perform in this wonderful two-part harmony duo whenever they can. Over time they have played different genres of music and given them a more relaxed, acoustic style, putting their own twist on every song they sing. They have wonderful harmonies and sound great together.

Strings Attached are a 4 piece all female band from Staffordshire and Shropshire, playing original acoustic music. They have a wealth of performance experience ranging from playing in bands, solo, duos, vocal harmony groups and loads more. They are a plucky, fun and upbeat group!

Tim Lee is a Singer/Songwriter from the Northwest. He has eclectic influences, from Paul Simon to the Velvet Underground, Smokey Robinson to the Foo Fighters, and this reflects in his diverse material; which ranges from the dark to the funny, the funky to the soulful. But the lyrics are always true (sometimes brutally), and his voice is his own.
