Established in 2021, Velvetone first played live at Alsager School performing Bohemian Rhapsody. When creating their own music, they compose using a mixture of hard rock and grunge. The band consists of guitarist Tom Somerfield, drummer Rory Brown, bassist Aaron Flye and vocalist Evelyn Cliffe. They are inspired by Nirvana, The Foo Fighters and Queen.
