Line Up

John is a DJ rooted in underground techno, melodic house, deep tech and breakbeat, with the occasional nod to disco. Active in the dance music scene since 1998, his journey has taken him through promotions, venue management and long-running residencies, including managing the legendary Golden venue and later holding a weekly residency at Fat Cat Café Bar.

Performing across the North West for clubs, festivals and events, John has become known for deep, rolling and carefully selected sets, and returns to Alsager Music Festival for the second time following a storming opening set at last year’s event. Alongside DJing, he is launching a podcast series celebrating local talent and has spent more than 20 years as a music teacher, including the last 12 years as Principal of CREATED Academy School, helping young people develop skills in DJing, music production, music business and live performance while connecting grassroots creativity with real-world music culture.
