The festival began in 2009 with the aim of offering young people a fun and exciting way to fill their summer holidays while providing a platform to perform at a free music event. Since its inception, it has been organized by a dedicated group of local musicians, music lovers, and members of Alsager Round Table, Alsager Partnership, and The Scouts. Held annually in Milton Park, Alsager, on the second weekend of July, the festival has grown to involve local pubs, with events stretching across the entire weekend.

Now attracting around 4,000 people, the festival features 9 hours of live music across multiple stages, ensuring there’s something for every musical taste. In addition to the music, the event offers a range of food and drink options, real ales at the bar, craft stalls, merchandise, and community booths.

Stath’s Stage showcases a wide variety of music to a large crowd. The Sunken Garden offers a more intimate atmosphere, hosting acoustic performances, while the Marquee provides a platform for young musicians to perform in front of an audience for the first time, along with other local talent. Meanwhile, The Concrete Stage hosts local DJ’s playing a variety of electronic dance music. For those who prefer to relax and enjoy live music in a cozy setting, local pubs also feature music throughout the weekend.

As a fully volunteer-run, non-profit event, all funds raised are either donated to local charities or reinvested to support the festival’s future. If you’d like to get involved and help make the event a success, please reach out to us!
