Gritty, raw and packed with bluesy guitar sounds and powerhouse vocals, Katie & The Bad Sign bring a fierce mix of Americana, Blues and good ol’ Rock ’n’ Roll wherever they play. Hailing from Manchester, their 70s-inspired sound moves from catchy melodies to gravelly, full-throttle vocals, channelling the spirit of Janis Joplin through a modern dark roots-rock edge.

Inspired by artists including KALEO, Fleetwood Mac and Rival Sons, the band have played festivals across the UK including Whychwood, Buckle & Boots and Upton Blues. Alongside support from BBC Introducing and Planet Rock Radio, they’ve opened for Ocean Colour Scene and supported Shane Smith & The Saints at their sold-out Manchester show.
